Beating up on Power of The Force 2 figures is pretty lame in my opinion, especially since many of which hold up as great toys. Actually, compared to Hasbro's current offerings I have to say the POTF2 line was a ton better overall. You had good sculpts, cheaper prices, great vehicles and playsets, and so many characters to chose from. That's not to say it was always great however: Boba Fett here's a good example of that.
The sculpt on this figure is awful. His proportions are all over the place even by POTF2 standards. His chest is huge, his waist doesn't connect well with his hips, he has no neck... the problems go on. To make matters worse his pose is terrible. What is he doing? At least the other POTF2 figures were usually in a pretty cool or sensible stance. This figure almost has no decent looking pose from any angle, and that's sad.
So yeah, I don't like this Boba Fett figure much at all. But really, he's just a good example of a bad figure from the time. There was plenty of good ones like the Jawas, or Snowtroopers, most of the Cantina patrons, the ewoks, R2-D2, the list goes on. Definitely, Star Wars was better in the 90's than in 2015, even with figures like this guy.
There were a couple figures like him, such as the rebel fleet trooper. Huge torso and bad pose. This Boba, with some soft goods looks much better. One of my favorite Boba's was the next one, that has him in the firing pose.
